- Play under the lights at Memorial Park during the week. Games
are played 2 nights of the week starting in June and ending in July.
Practices begin in May and continue through the end of the league.

GIRLS FAST PITCH SOFTBALL LEAGUE
(Currently in Grades 3-8)
Join the fastest growing league in town at the newly renovated softball
fields behind Luther
School. Teams are formed in early May with an evaluation practice -
team practices will then be held throughout the month. Games are played
June through the end of July. The league is divided into two
divisions: Grades 3 - 4 - 5 and Grades 6 - 7 - 8.

Girls, get a head start in your most popular sport ! Through the
inspiring direction of longtime volleyball coach Gayle Boos and her staff
you will learn the touch of passing the ball (bump), setting the ball softly
and the techniques for swinging for the perfect spike! Our week long
volleyball camp will get you headed in the right direction.

Every Saturday new teams will be formed and a new version of the popular

Ball Mania (Grades
6-8) Want a tune up for summer baseball or softball? Want
to go yard and hit a homerun? Want a chance to rob a homerun?
Wiffle Ball Mania is the program for you. Each week two teams will be
formed and will go head to head in our indoor baseball stadium. A six
inning ball game will be played using a special wiffle ball, bat, and
fielding nets. Also, a homerun hitting contest will be held each week.

Join the Blackhawk High School coaching staff and players as they teach you
the skills of pitching, hitting, throwing, and fielding in this
1-day camp. A great start-up for rookies or a tune-up for veteran players
wanting to play in the summer Girls Softball League Campers will be split
into two levels: Grades 3-5 and Grades 6-8. Camp will be held at the
High School Softball Fields. In case of bad weather the camp will be
held indoors in the gym and batting cages at the High School.

Basketball Coaches & Parents Clinic "Sharp
Shooting" (Adults)
This two hour clinic will cover the most important area - and most
fun - SHOOTING. Learn five unique individual and five team shooting
drills to be used in practice or in your driveway. Great for any volunteer basketball coaches, and
for parents that are interested in coaching or want to know the fundamentals
to help their child at home. Rules of basketball and modified rules
for the league will also be discussed.

compete in this new version of the popular backyard game. Go yard
in the transformed Municipal Gymnasium Stadium home run contest held at
