Oak
trees (over 100 years old) cover the park and provide an incredible
backdrop to Jones Park's historic baseball field.
The diamond is the baseball home to the Fort Atkinson Generals Home Talent
League team, Fort Atkinson High School varsity team and VFW Teeners, Jr.
Legion & American Legion summer teams. Today's youngest baseball
stars plays on one of the state's oldest venues - the diamond dates back
to pre-1900 and has a spectator grandstand that was built in 1917.
Jones Park diamond has state of the art lighting and its field is fully
irrigated to provide some of the best playing conditions. When
"Play Ball" is called the brats hit the grill at one of the most
affordable concession stands around!
The park also features a "Fort" themed playground area,
restrooms, picnic shelter (located adjacent to the 6th Street entry
parking lot), lighted horse shoe courts and a sand volleyball court.
Shelter Rental - $25 (plus $20
