ALL DANCE CLASS FEES INCLUDE A CHARGE OF $30 FOR DANCE COSTUMES.  (there maybe additional fees nearer the recital time)

  Class Description:   
Creative 3/4 - Children (ages 3 and 4) are introduction to basic ballet positions and steps along with creative movement. Activities will focus on body awareness, coordination, motor skills, rhythm, and imagination.  Parents please note this is an up-parented class.

Creative 5/6 - Children (ages 5 & 6)  are taught the fundamentals and language of ballet in an atmosphere of encouragement, discipline and warmth.  Emphasis is on correct body placement and developing a love of dance.

Creative 7/8/9 - Students (ages 7, 8 & 9) are taught advanced fundamentals and will learn all forms of dance including ballet, tap, jazz and hip hop.

Creative 10/11/12 - Students ages 10, 11, & 12 will learn more advanced forms of ballet, tap, jazz and hip hop.

Ballet I-IV:  Classical ballet training is continues.  This program offers excellent training for the serious student as well as those interested in developing an appreciation of the art.
                 Ballet I -    Beginning level  -  Must be 7 years old.
                 Ballet II -   Should have Ballet I completed (ages 8-11)
                 Ballet III  - Intermediate ballet with 2 to 3 years ballet experience.  Ages 10-12 depending on experience.
                 Ballet IV - Must have completed Ballet I, II, & III.

Ballet V - Instruction at this level concentrates on perfecting previous skills, speed of execution, cleanliness of line, stamina, extension, complicated batterie, multiple pirouettes and preparation on a professional level.  (Instructor approval only)
Pointe -   Training on Pointe begins only after strong, comprehensive basic technique has been developed and the feet, back and legs are sufficiently strong.  Pointe is taught after two or three years preparation in Ballet IV & V.  Permission of the instructor is required.

Hip Hop I and II - This class teaches all the moves of hip hop and jazz.  For ages 13 and older with instructor approval.  If in Hip Hop II student must also be enrolled in Ballet IV.
 
Theatrical 13 and up- This class is designed for dancers to have fun and learn the many moves of Theatrical dance.  This class is for children 13 years and older.  Instructor approval.

Daddies & Dancers - A special class for dad's and their daughters or sons.  Basic dance moves will be taught for the cutest dance in the recital.

***All classes are subject to change if there are not enough children registered. 
  

  Dance Attire:
Creative Dance:  Black leotard, light pink tights, ballet shoes and tap shoes.
Ballet & Pointe:  Black leotard, light pink tights, pink ballet shoes.
Adv. Hip Hop & Theatrical:  Comfortable clothes and ballet, jazz or tennis shoes.

PARENT NOTE:  To keep the recital length similar to past years, we may combine (for the performance only) classes that have very small sizes.
